Hard Resetting Through Phone Settings:
- Your mobile should be switched on.
- Go to Settings from the main Menu.
- Tap on About > Reset your phone.
- Done.
- Turn Off your mobile.
- Press and hold together: Volume Down and Power button together for a few seconds.
- Release the keys when the Exclamtion mark (!) appeared.
- Press the buttons with following sequence of buttons:
Volume Up - > Volume Down-> Power - > Volume Down.

Acer Liquid M220 smartphone with 4.00-inch 480x800 display powered by 1.2GHz processor alongside 512MB RAM and 5-megapixel rear camera.
It may be necessary to perform a factory reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to anoperational state.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your Acer Liquid M220, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will deleteall data types or existing files.
